This was my first time visiting Mallinger Family Eye Care today and I was very satisfied with the customer service I received. I mostly appreciate the different tests and my experience with the support staff. I liked Dr. Arcemont and how very detailed she was. I will highly recommend Mallinger Family Eye Care to my Summerlin neighbors, friends, and family.

The entire staff including both doctors are extremely helpful and always happy to help. Jamie has been amazing, helping us navigate the insurance process and helping us find the best option for my son's contacts. She has gone above and beyond and is one of the reasons we continue to see Dr. Mallinger and refer her to others in Las Vegas. Truly top notch in all regards!

I received an exam and bought a pair of glasses here about 4 months ago. During the consultation, I decided to try "progressive" lenses (different thickness at the bottom than at the top that allows you to have reading and distance glasses all in one). In the following weeks and months, I thought I was doing something wrong as I couldn't read from my computer as well. I thought that I needed to adjust. Going back, I was full of anxiety about complaining thinking this must surely be something that I needed to get used to, but within 5 minutes of speaking to the wonderful staff, I was re-measured and had it explained to me that they might simply need to fit me with new lenses with the focal lengths aligned a little differently. They measured my focal lengths again, ordered and replaced the lenses for free...and today I picked up my "new" glasses. Terrific!

I just moved here and Mallingers is very close to my home and takes my insurance. When I called to schedule my appt the gentleman who helped me was very kind and took the time to enter my whole family in the system. When I went in with my daughter for her appt today, it was at 2 pm and she went back for her pre exam at 2:05 so I was pretty happy about that. After the pre check, we waited for Dr. Mallinger for about 15 minutes because she had someone before us that required a bit more time. If I'm being honest I was slightly annoyed especially because it was our first time there. However, as soon as she came in the room, I forgot I was annoyed. She was so kind, and truly makes you feel like you are her only patient even though I knew there was someone else in the waiting room. She spoke to my daughter as if she was actually a person with a brain and feelings which as a mom, is very nice. Many people forget that a child of 11 can actually think for themselves. After doing a test, she wanted to repeat it because there was something weird. Dr Mallinger came out and said she wanted to do it for a third time because she didn't want to disregard the abnormal result. It turns out, everything was fine, but it was very nice and appreciated that she took the time to make sure my daughter was ok instead of pushing us out because she had someone waiting. So with that being said..knowing now how thorough she is, I will make sure to allow extra time in case she needs it with another patient. I'm very happy to have found Mallingers, we will be back for sure!

I had never gotten an eye exam prior to this, but I went in due to constant headaches. Dr. Mallinger took the time to explain why & answered all my questions. I definitely didn't feel rushed and she was so sweet. The office is extremely clean and the staff members are nice! As I was finished with my glasses fitting, checking out, Dr. Mallinger came out and handed me her notes that she documented in regards to my visit. She thought i'd enjoy reading over them because i'm in nursing school. I absolutely appreciated that! I've referred a couple to them already. AND, my glasses came in way earlier than expected! Ill definitely be back.

What can I say!?..the kind and compassionate staff as well as the lovely Dr. Mallinger was beyond expectations for an eye exam. There is almost always a high expectation going into an optometrist's office-a new one at that. Mallinger Family Eye Care is supreme in the eyes(no pun intended) of us folks that require quality eyecare. I've had the please of having my entire exam conducted by Dr Mallinger. She is extremely knowledgeable and completely thorough in her work.

How is it that every time I go to Dr. Mallinger I end up having a great time? For something as simple as getting your eyes checked and picking out a pair of glasses, the staff makes it all the more better. Everyone is always in a great mood, even in the early hours of the morning, but that might be because their coffee machine is out of this world (I'm serious, you want a vanilla latte with actual pumps of vanilla and freshly steamed milk while picking out your new frames? You got it.)
And it's not just the staff, Dr. Mallinger herself is a right joy. She is easy to get along with and makes sure you're comfortable during the exam while being patient and explaining what is it that she's doing. She even got some fancy new equipment we were admiring together today - fun stuff I promise.
With their great collection of (sun)glasses, a wonderful staff, and delicious coffee, I just wish I had more of a reason to keep going back and saying hello to everyone.

I cannot explain how great Dr. Mallinger is. My first visit, she noticed the pressure in my eyes were high and sent me to a specialist. She didn't think there was anything wrong, but just wanted to be sure. I called me last eye doctor and asked what my pressure was. It was high there, too. I asked if they didn't send someone to a specialist when that was the case and the response was, "well, we usually do". Dr. Mallinger takes care of all my family and I trust her implicitly.

I just wanted to thank you for my recent visit to Mallinger Family Eye Care. I could not have received better service!!! The girls are just excellent and I love the way the doctors always stop and take time with James and me. It's like visiting family! We appreciate you all so very much and I make sure to tell my friends that, if they want excellent eye care, to go see you! James's eyes are so much better and I cannot wait for my new glasses! A visit to your office is like going to see friends, rather than going to some sterile office to be treated like another number. Working in the health care field myself, I appreciate the excellent care and customer service. And the end product! Glasses that fit and do what they are supposed to do! Hello, my name is Lisa, I have been a patient of Dr. Mallinger for at least 12 years. It all started when she came to our pre-school and did a courtesy exam on my children. My youngest daughter ended up having week eye muscles and sent us home with some seemingly silly exercises, that turned out to be incredible and worked well to strengthen her eyes. She is now a Junior in High School and still a patient of Dr. Mallingers. To say the least our entire family has been her patient since that fateful exam. Recently my husband was referred by his Neurologist to another Doctor. We went to see the other Dr., and to our sadness this So called Dr. was a vision nightmare. We walked out of their office and called Dr. Mallinger. Her amazing staff got my Husband in that same afternoon. She gave him a full vision exam, she even gave him her undivided attention, printed out everything, and sent us on our way with all of the information. To say the least we will not stray from Dr. Mallinger again, it has proven to work against us. We are greatly appreciative to Dr. Mallinger and her amazing staff. Thank you, Lisa Nix

Because my daughter is autistic,I was concerned about taking her for an eye exam but the minute we walked into your office my concerns were erased.Your staff was so welcoming and kind.Each person took the time to say hello to my daughter and to make her feel comfortable.Her stress soon disappeared when your assistant talked her through each step of the exam, explaining everything in a manner in which my daughter could relate.The second part of her exam, working directly with you, was as she said, “Very Cool”!She loved that you were patient and that you tried a variety of different lenses.Each autistic child is so unique, from their behavior to their physical abilities. We were very impressed that you understood that and worked beyond the “Textbook solution”.
